2016-2017

2016 saw Uberlink Corporation commence development of a major product enhancement to VOSON, adding Twitter social media data collection and network analysis. I led the development of the resulting “VOSON+Twitter” product, which fully integrates the social media pipeline (currently provided by GNIP, Twitter’s enterprise syndicator) into the VOSON SaaS. This was accomplished by extending VOSON’s back-end to use Python 3 as the data collection, transport and network generation layer programming language. Real-time updating of data collection within VOSON was accomplished using memcached.
